DMCA & Takedown

House of Grapplers respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright or has been used without authorization, you can submit a takedown request and we will respond promptly.

What we host

The platform contains three categories of content: (1) original editorial and structured data created by our team, (2) user-generated discussions and replies from registered members, and (3) aggregated excerpts from public sources (Reddit, Wikipedia, YouTube embeds, public event results) which are attributed and linked back to their origin. How to submit a takedown notice

To file a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), send an email to dmca@houseofgrapplers.com. Your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and a URL (or URLs) where it appears on House of Grapplers.
  4. Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Lighter-weight removal requests

If you are a Reddit user, athlete, gym owner, or content creator who simply wants something removed without going through the formal DMCA process, email dmca@houseofgrapplers.com with the URL and a sentence about why. We honor reasonable removal requests in good faith. You do not need a lawyer to ask.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notice to dmca@houseofgrapplers.com containing your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address.

Repeat infringers

We terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
